This Halloween, The Weeknd and his supermodel girlfriend Bella Hadid dressed up as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz, the main characters played by Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder in Tim Burton’s 1988 movie.
The “Starboy” singer, 28, donned a green wig and plenty of white face paint, documenting the costume preparation on his social media.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Hadid transformed into Beetlejuice’s bride in a custom ruffled red gown by Sylvio NYC, a black wig with spiked bangs and some truly creepy (and costly) jewellery, including a $7,200 diamond snake ring and matching beetle bauble by Colette Jewelry. The model completed her image with black combat boots and a bouquet of blood-red roses, and partied at Heidi Klum’s Halloween party, where her and The Weeknd’s costumes almost caused a photographer stampede on the red carpet.
