The Weeknd has announced his first ever tour in Asia, initially revealing 8 dates when he will perform in the continent.
He has been vocal of his desire to tour Asia in the past, and it looks like it’s finally coming to fruition.
The tour begins in November 2018, and will see The Weeknd perform in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea and of course, Japan.
Tesfaye has spoken out about his love of Japan, and cites the country as a huge source of inspiration for his 2013 album Kiss Land. We didn’t hear any Kiss Land tracks on his North American or European tour legs – could this be where he brings them back?
There has been no more information revealed yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know when tickets go on sale and venues are announced.
